FAQ'S

Can I book online?
We do not take bookings online, but you are welcome to book by emailing us at hotelambassadeurjersey@gmail.com - we may be online, but we like to keep things personal.
Do you have disabled access?
We offer wheelchair access to the front entrance of the hotel and have some ground floor rooms. Guests who are mobility impaired should have no trouble moving around the ground floor and public areas of the hotel, however our en suite bathrooms do not have disabled facilities. The hotel does have a lift, which serves all floors.
Is there anywhere to smoke?
The Hotel operates a strict non-smoking policy indoors, but there is plenty of outside space for smoking.
Does the hotel offer childcare facilities?
No, although we do offer a secure and reliable childcare listening service, which you can use to tune in to your room from reception to monitor your child. Highchairs are available in the Restaurant area. Should you fancy a night out without your children, please contact Reception, and we may be able to organize someone from our Housekeeping Department, to baby-sit (an extra charge will be applicable).
Do you organise tours and excursions?
The hotel is happy to organise all travel, transport and tours for guests. There is an array of things to do in Jersey, from visiting one of the many Heritage sites, to taking a rib trip around the coast. Anything you wish to do, you can rest assured that we will try our best to organise it for you. Just speak to our team at reception. Should you have booked a trip to one of the other Channel Islands or France for the day, and require an early breakfast.....a continental breakfast is available at any time in the Restaurant.
Is there parking at the hotel?
There is indeed, ample parking at the hotel.
Are there any bus services nearby?
The bus stop is situated almost right outside the hotel. Reception can provide you with the latest timetables on request. During the high season, May to September, there is a bus every 15 minutes to the town centre, and the main bus station.
Do you accept all credit cards at The Hotel Ambassadeur?
The hotel will accept the majority of cards; except American Express and Diner Club cards.
Is there a pool at the hotel?
The hotel features a large swimming pool that also has plenty of beds and seating. There is ample shade for those wanting to escape the sun, but enough space for those who wish to sunbathe. The pool is generally heated during the months of June, July August and September...maybe a little earlier, depending on the weather.
Does the hotel provide entertainment?
During the main season, the hotel offers entertainment four nights a week after dinner. There is a Games Room, for our younger guests, situated close to our residents Bar and Lounge.
Can the hotel cater for special dietary requirements?
Yes indeed, please discuss any dietary requirements with reception on booking, or with the restaurant team when you arrive. We cater for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free and diabetic requests. A fridge is available close to Reception, should any medication need to be kept cold.
Does the hotel offer a laundry service?
Yes, we offer a laundry service and there is also an ironing station on the ground floor of the hotel. A list of laundry charges is displayed in your room information folder.
